Newman/Haas/Lanigan Racing

The NHLR team was originally founded in 1983 and has been one of the most successful IndyCar Series racing groups in the last two decades with an overall win of 106 races of which 79 are street races and 27 correspond to oval races.

Most recently in 2005 the NHLR leaders decided to incorporate two vehicles in the World Series which delivered excellent results.

Amongst some of the team’s most accomplished drivers we find; Paul Tracy, Cristiano da Matta, Sébastien Bourdais, Mario Andretti, Michael Andretti, and Nigel Mansell.

The team’s main sponsors are Firestone, Bosch and McDonald.

For the 2008 season; the Newman-Haas-Lanigan team is one of the favourites to add another title to the already long-list of wins this time headed by the Britton Wilson who previously drove for Jaguar in the Formula One standings and the American Rahal who has an extend background in the Indy Racing.
