The Bucks team was formed in 1968 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
During the team’s early years they managed to win several Division titles plus two conference titles and one NBA championship.
One of Bucks most accomplished players was Lew Alcindor (now known as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar); he was the master behind the plan during the 1971 season when the Bucks won their first conference award becoming the second-fastest team in the NBA history to win the title.
The Bucks played at a very small arena until 1988, when the team moved to a new sports facility called Bradley Center, where they currently play their home games.
Campaign 2007-08 finished with a low 13th position of the Eastern Conference and a 26-56 record on the table.
As per Coach Scott Skiles, he is going to demand constant power, fierceness, and defensive concentration. Last season, it looked like only a very little handful of players were playing like they cared. Coach Skiles will not agree to that this time.
Minimal upgrading is expected for 2008-09, but with at least eight new faces and a completely new system to take on, it’s not going to be an easy job to reach playoff status.
