New York Nets - 2009-10 Season Review
The 2009-10 NBA season for the Nets could be summarized in just one phrase: second worst record in the NBA history. They began the season winless after 18 games, and when they reached the 30th things had not really improved as they were 2-28, to tie for the worst 30-game start in history since the 2004-05 New Orleans Hornets. To make the story short, New Jersey finished the season 12-70. Head coach Lawrence Frank was relieved on November 29, and Tom Barrise took charge as an interim coach for two games, to then give his place to general manager Kiki Vandeweghe, who coached the franchise until the end of the season.
