The South Florida Bulls play for the University of South Florida and joined the Big East Conference in 2005. They started playing in the Division I-A in 2001 after playing for just 3 years in the Division I-AA.
The Bulls share their Home arena, Raymond James Stadium (formerly Tampa Community Stadium) with the NFL Team Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It was also formerly home to the Tampa Bay Mutiny baseball team .
Their biggest hit so far was their first victory over a Big East rival in 2005 when they defeated the ninth-ranked University of Louisville. |
