The Idaho State Bengals football team belongs to the Idaho State University and participates in the NCAA Division I-AA for the Big Sky Conference.
The team won NCAA Division I-AA national championship in 1981. The football games are played at the Holt Arena, which is actually the oldest domed in a college campus in the United States.
Idaho State's rivalry used to be the Boise State Broncos, until they left the Big Sky Conference in 1996. Currently, the Bengals's main rival is the Weber State Wildcats. |
