Based in Flagstaff, Arizona, the Northern Arizona University Lumberjacks have been members of the Big Sky Conference in the NCAA Division I since 1970. Presently the Lumberjacks play their home games at the Walkup Skydome, which has a capacity of 15,300. Northern Arizona’s first season began in 1915.
During their participation in the NCAA Division I, the Lumberjacks have won four Conference championships in 1956, 1962, 1978 and the last one in 2003.
Last season, the Lumberjacks ended in 5th place of the BSC with an overall record of 6-5, losing the last four games of the season.
