Portland State Vikings finished as second place in the NCAA II Division in 1989 and 1990.
Recently, the team concluded the 2006 season tied for the second place in the Big Sky Conference and two of the team's players were named All- Americans: the offensive lineman Brennan Carvalho and the linebacker Adam Hayword. |
The Vikings current head coach Jerry Glanville, who formerly coached for the NFL, came as replacement of Tim walsh who left the team at the end of the 2006 season, after 14 years.
