In 78 recorded seasons, the Duquesne University has won a pair of the New Year's Day bowl games; establishing as one of the top NCAA Division I-AA mid-major programs in the nation.
In 1994 Duquesne's football team became members of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Football League - one of the nation's few NCAA Division I-AA non-scholarship conferences.
As MAAC members, the Dukes have won eight championships and achieved more victories than any other MAAC school and brought home the first national championship in league history in 2003. |
