• Dennis E. Thomas has been MEAC commissioner since 2002


• Along some of the most important football facilities we find: Alumni Stadium, Armstrong Stadium, and the Bragg Memorial stadium


• MEAC Football has produced many NFL professional players including Hall of Famers: Marion Motley; Roosevelt Brown; Len Ford; David “Deacon” Jones


• Currently there are more than 25 former MEAC players in the NFL rosters


• Seven MEAC football players have been named to The Sports Network 2006 Preseason Division I-AA All-American team
