Based in New Britain, Connecticut, the Central Connecticut St. Blue Devils are members of the Northeast Conference in the NCAA Division I-AA. The Blue Devils became part of the NEC in 1997 and play their home games at Arute Field.
In their 74 years of football, the Blue Devils have won two NEC conferences, one in 2004 and one a year later, in 2005. Current coach Jeff McInerney has a record of 21-12 with CCS in 3 years as a head coach.
