Based in Loretto, Pennsylvania, the St. Francis Red Flash have been members of the Northeast Conference in the NCAA Division I-AA since 1993. The Red Flash play their home games at DeGol Field.

In their 100 years of football, the Red Flash haven’t won a single conference title. Their current head coach is Dave Opfar, who will mark his eighth season with St. Francis in 2009.

In 2008, the Red Flash finished with an overall record of 0-11 and obtained the last place of the NEC with a conference record of 0-7, losing all the games of the season.
