Based in Corvallis, Oregon, the Oregon State Beavers have been members of the Pacific-10 Conference in the NCAA Division I since 1915. The eternal rivals of Oregos State are the Oregon Ducks and the Washington Huskies. The Beavers play their home games at the Reser Stadium, which seats 45,674 fans.
The Beavers have won 5 conference titles and have appeared in 16 bowl games throughout their history. Since 2003 the Beavers have been leaded by Coach Mike Riley, who currently holds a 56-42-0 (.571) record with the team.
In 2008, the Oregon State football team finished with an overall record of 9-4 in the third place of the PAC-10. In 2009, despite the Beavers lost one more game than in 2008, the team finished second in the conference. Their regular season records were of 8-5 overall and 6-3 in the PAC-10.
