Based in Eugene, Oregon, the Oregon Ducks are members of the Pacific-10 Conference in the NCAA Division I. The Ducks joined the PAC-10 in 1964 after competing in the PCC. The Ducks play their home games at the Autzen Stadium, which was opened in 1967.
The Ducks won five conference co-championships in the PCC. In the PAC-10 (formerly Pacific 8) they have won 3 championships (1994, 2001, 2009) and shared one (2000).
Oregon football team main rivals are the Washington Huskies and the Oregon State Beavers. They end every regular season playing a rivalry game called the “Civil War” against the Beavers.
The 2009 season marked the third successful season in a row for the Ducks. After a 9-4 record in 2007 and a 10-3 in 2008, the Ducks finished the 2009 regular season with a 10-2 overall and an 8-1 in the Pac-10. This gave them the 2009 conference championship.
