Based in Clinton, South Carolina, the Presbyterian Blues Hose are members of the Big South Conference in the NCAA Division I-AA. The Blue Hose announced their bond to the BSC in 2006. The 2007-2008 season was the first season of the four-year transition period for Presbyterian.

The Blue Hose play in the Bailey Memorial Stadium, which was opened in 2004. The football team recently changed its leadership, signing Harold Nichols as a new head coach.

During the 2008 season, Presbyterian College lost the three last games of the season and ended with an overall record of 4-8. The Blue Hose have yet to record any conference games as either wins or losses due to the recent transition.
