Based in Poughkeepsie, New York, the Marist Red Foxes are members of the Pioneer League Football Conference in the NCAA Division I-AA. Before joining the PLF in 2008, the Red Foxes competed in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Football League for 14 years.
The Marist football team had won three championships while in the MAAC, earning outright titles in 1994 and 2006 and then capturing shares of the crown the last two seasons. Moreover, the Red Foxes play their home games at Tenney Stadium at Leonidoff Field since 1972.
With a 4-7 overall record for the 2008 season, the Marist football team ended with a strong belief in an improved 09 season. Coach Jim Parady is hoping for a great season.
