In their history the Georgia Bulldogs team has won 2 national championships. The team has also won 12 Southeastern Conference (SEC) championships, the 2005 one being the most recent one.
Additionally, they have achieved two Heisman Trophy winners (Frank Sinkwich and Herschel Walker), and also hold the distinction and pride of having three graduates become Super Bowl MVPs (Jake Scott, Terrell Davis, and Hines Ward).
The Georgia Bulldogs' most historic rivalry is with Auburn, referred to as
"the Deep South's Oldest Rivalry" and dating back to 1892. The biggest rivalries are between the Bulldogs and Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and the Gators.
