The university of North Texas was first established in 1890 by Joshua Chilton as a publish school. The institution is located in Denton, Texas and it is part of the Federation of North Texas Area Universities.
UNT is part of the Sun Belt conference and competes at the Division I Football Bowl Subdivison (formerly Division I-A) level.
The school plays its home football games at Fouts Field but currently there are plans for a new stadium construction in the near future. |
