The 2008 Prairie View A&M University Panthers football team will look to continue the programs recent trend of success as they get set to compete for a Southwestern Athletic Conference title.

Prairie View A&M will feature a veteran ball club with the return of over 45 lettermen.

Last season Prairie View A&M completed the regular season with a 7-3 overall record as they just barely missed a bid to participate in the 2007 SWAC Championship game.
