Important Facts

Many Conference USA football players have achieved great victories which have led to place the league among the top conferences within the country.

During several years from 1994-2004, the conference champion was determined by the overall season record, but as of 2005 the conference was divided into East and West, therefore, the championship format changed and the game is disputed between the two division winners.

The Conference USA winner automatically enters the Liberty Bowl and the loser receives a berth to play in either the Hawaii Bowl or the GMAC.
