If all 17 starters that came back this season can get together before conference play starts, they can finish 2nd on their division with no doubt.
This could be a make or break year for coach Snyder, as Marshall returns a wealth of experience and is in desperate need of a winning season.
The addition of new coordinators on both sides of the ball should help, although the lack of an experienced quarterback is certainly going to make things a bit more challenging.
A tough schedule that features nine bowl teams from 2007 will most likely mean another losing campaign for Marshall, but the program should be primed for a big run in 2009.
