Derek Abney
Derek Abney was born in Minot, North Dakota. He attended University of Kentucky where he was a star receiver/kick returner. Abney became the first player in NCAA Division I-A history to record at least 2,000 receiving yards, 2,000 kickoff return yards and 1,000 punt return yards in his career.
Abney was drafted in the 7th round of the 2004 NFL Draft by the Baltimore Ravens, but was released without playing.
