Eli Manning
At the age of 27, the fifth-year veteran is in the early stages of his prime. His legacy, to a large extent, is already secured. Manning couldn’t ask for a better organization.
Accuracy is chaotic, turnovers are too common, body language looks bad, vocal leadership so, so, but still Super Bowl MVP.
Manning arrived at the playoffs and matured into a reputable field general, leading his troops to four repeated road victories. He threw six touchdowns and just one pick along the way. Now, gone are the protests about his prudence, guidance, fervor and dignity.
Does Manning not still have the same attitude air as before? Does Coughlin no longer yell when he’s upset? Perhaps there was no change at all.
And yet, we see the Super Bowl rings.
