With a down season going just 5-11, luckily got 3rd in the NFC West.
This year the 49ers are hoping that the addition of Mike Martz as the offensive coordinator will add some much needed life to the offense. They have also included some hard pieces in Martz’s former player Isaac Bruce from the Rams and Bryant Johnson from the Cardinals.
There is little doubt in the Bay Area that coach Nolan will increase tactic this 2008. Unfortunately for him, he isn't entering the season with a fully loaded gun. While the 49ers have an elite running back and a handful of playmakers on defense, the club is way below par in the most important position on the field --the QB spot, Alex Smith is our guy!
Today some of the most accomplished players that are currently listed in the 2008 roster are: Quarterback Shaun Hill, J.T. O’Sullivan and Alex Smith. Linebackers: Roderick Green, Dennis Haley, Jay Moore, and Patrick Willis. Tight Ends: Billy Bajema and Cooper Wallace.
