Drew Brees

Brees plays the quarterback position and he has played for two major NFL teams the San Diego Chargers and most recently the New Orleans Saints. Brees was born in January 5, 1979 in Austin, Texas.

During his early football career he finished in Purdue with Big Ten Conference records in passing yards (11,972), touchdown passes (90), total offensive yards (12,693), completion percentage (.611), completions (1,026), and attempts (1,678). For the 2001 Rose Bowl Brees led the Boilermakers to the Bowl for the first time since 1967.

During the 2001 season Brees played his first career game versus the Kansas City Chiefs. In 2003 during his second season with the Chargers he was named started but it did not work out for him as he posted his worst season; the Chargers went 4-12 overall.

In 2006 he was awarded the Most Valuable Player status.
