Ted Forrest
He is an American professional poker player born in 1964 in Syracuse New York. Forrest currently resides in Las Vegas Nevada.
Forrest won three bracelets at the 1993 World Series of Poker (WSOP). He won 2 bracelets at the 2004 WSOP. Since then he is focused in holdem instead seven card stud with some success, including reaching 3 final tables on the World Poker Tour and winning a championship on the Professional Poker Tour.
Forrest is well known as a competitive high stakes gambler. He has been a key part of a consortium of poker players who pooled their money together to play Andy Beal at $100,000-$200,000 heads-up limit holdem.
Forrest is generally regarded as one of the best Stud players in the world, while being relatively weaker at Hold’Em. Despite this reputation, Forrest has won several Hold’Em tournaments.
Forrest competed in the 2nd season of Poker Superstars Invitational tournament, there he advanced to the quarter-final stage.
In March 2006, Forrest won the annual National Heads –up Poker Championship and won the $500,000 first prize. He has won more than $3,400,000 in his whole poker career.
