Club Atlético Banfield
Club Atlético Banfield is a professional soccer team from Banfield. The club was founded in 1896 and was named after Edward Banfield, a British executive of the railroad company Gran Ferrocarril Sur.
Banfield is traditionally one of the largest and most supported clubs in the south of the Gran Buenos Aires metropolitan area, and the biggest of the district called Lomas de Zamora.
