Unión de Santa Fe
Club Atlético Unión is a football club from Santa Fe, the capital city of the province with the same name in Argentina. The club was founded in 1907 and their main rivals are Colón de Santa Fe.
In 1965 the club was promoted to the Primera División Argentina for the first time. They have played there for many years, alternated with periods in the second division.
The most famous players to have played for Unión are: Leopoldo Luque, World Cup winner with Argentina in 1978, and Nery Pumpido, the goalkeeper of the national team that won the World Cup in Mexico 1986.
