Group H - Saudi Arabia:
Mohammad Al Shlhoub
Place of Birth: Saudi Arabia
Date of Birth: December 8th, 1980
Position: Midfielder
Clubs: Al Hilal
Mohammad Al Shlhoub broke on to the international scene in the year 2000 in the AFC Nations Cup finals in Lebanon and his hat-trick against Uzbekistan at the age of 19.
He is a handful for any defense with a multitude of tricks up his sleeve when playing on the left-wing and his slight frame aids another of his greatest assets, his pace. The Al-Hilal player was the smallest player at the 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan, a record he could retain in Germany.
However, whether his impact is seen from the first whistle of the match or from the substititutes’ bench, the Saudi Arabia fans hope that Al Shlhoub can help their team progress from the group stage and confidently beyond.
