This Spanish basketball team was first created in 1963 in the Canary Islands, Spain. It was not until the middle 1980’s that the team moved to the Second Division of the Spanish League.
A few years later the team changed its name to Club Baloncesto Gran Canaria. Finally; during the 1994-95 EBA League the team managed to win the championship title at that point known as the Spanish Silver Division. From that point forward
Over the past season the team has occupied between the fifth and the eighth place in the ACB League; at the present moment the team is placed in the 6th place. |
