The DKV Joventut was one of the first basketball teams to be created and it is one of only three teams that has never been relegated from the ACB league. This elite Spanish basketball team is considered as one of the best team in Europe. The group has accomplished an incredible number of trophies throughout its history among which we can mention some such as: 4 Spanish leagues, 8 Copa del Rey, 10 Lliga Catalana de Basque, and 1 FIBA Euro Cup. The DKV plays its home games at the Pavelló Olímpic de Badalona located in the city of Badalona with a capacity for 12,500 spectators. The team is currently led by head coach Aíto García Reneses who is assisted by Sito Alonso. Some of the team’s current players who are listed in the present roster are: small forwards Joseph Franch and Luboš Bartoň, shooting guard Ferran Laviña and point guard Ricky Rubio. |
