The Ricoh Manresa or Basket Manresa team was originally founded in 1931. During the team’s active years in the basketball league they have managed to obtained 2 Catalan League titles in the late 1990’s, one Spanish cup in 1996 and more recently a LEB league title during the 2006-07season. For the previous basketball season some of the team’s most outstanding players were: center Xavier Rey, forward Eric Fernandez, power forward Guillem Rubio, small forward Diego Sanchez, point guard Javier Rodriguez, and shooting guard Jordi Grimau. Currently the Ricoh Manresa is in the 11th position of the overall ACB standings and they play their home games at the Nou Congost arena, which has a capacity for 5.000 spectators and was inaugurated in late 1992.
