The Vive Menorca team early days date back 58-years in the sport history. The team is basically the only team from the area that currently participates in the league. For the previous league campaign the Menorca group only managed a 15 position in the overall standings; this was a real scare as they almost face relegation to a lesser league. Despite the good performances which led the team to become part of the premier league in 2005; the group has not yet managed to win any titles. |
Some of the most outstanding players of the Menorca team have been shooting guard Carlos Cazorla, power forward Jesus Fernandez, point guard Joe Maria Guzman, point guard Javier Mendiburu, point guard Vrbica Stefanov and power forward Chris Moss.
The team’s current head coach is Ricard Casas who is assisted by Javier Alvarez and Gaspar Roura.
