The team’s history dates back to the early 1980’s when Miguel Angel Pino, the commune’s ex president and Guillemo Sierra decide to begin working on the project of a new basketball team. During the 20 previous basketball campaigns the Sevilla team has participated in they have not been able to achieve any league titles or Spanish cups up to this point. The team currently stands in the 13th position in the ACB league after the most recent season. |
Amongst some of the most notable players who currently play in the teams’ roster are: shooting guard Andres Miso, small forward Michal Ignerski, point guard Aaron Miles, center Antonio Bueno, small forward jesus Cilla and center Inaki De Miguel.
The Cajasol Sevilla team is at this time led by head coach Manel Comas and assistants Antonio Jarana and Daniel Beltrano.
