The Franken Hexer is German proffesional basketball team based in Nüremberg. Currently is a member of the 2nd Bundesliga Pro B, after finishing on the bottom spot of the Pro A table of the 2007/08 season.
The club was called the sellbytel Baskets Nürnberg during 2005 and 2007, years in which they were part of the first division (BBL) of the Bundesliga.
The team has changed their name over the years, firstly and until 1999 they were the DJK Falke; then: consors Bulls (1999-2001); rce Falke (2001-2005), sellbytell Baskets Nürnberg and right before their current name, they were called dimplex Falke (2007-2008).
The team’s home arena is Nuremberg Arena. The team has only Euro 900,000, being the team with the lowest budget in the Bundesliga.
The only achievement the team has got until now, is being the German 2 Bundesliga Champion in 2005.
