Olympia Larissas BC is one of the youngest professional basketball teams from the Greek League (HEBA) and it currently plays in the A1 Ethniki, wich is the first division of HEBA.
It was founded in 1979, in the capital city of Larissa prefecture in Greece. Their first participation in the A1 as expected from such a young team was until recently years, but it certainly has been evolving since their arrival to the first division.
First season in A1 was 2004/05, when they were barely able to stay in it, finishing in the 11th position of the final table; for the next season they improved a little and rise to the 9th place. In the last two seasons they reached the playoffs, plus they having rising up also in the EuroCup Challenge during the past years.
