• It's managed by Claudio Corti with Valerio Tebaldi, Christian Andersen and Alberto Volpi assisting as directeur sportifs.
• The team participates in UCI Continental Circuits races when selected as a wildcar to UCI Pro Tour events.
• The most prominent rider of Barloworld is the South African Robert Hunter.
• This will make Team Barloworld the first British based team to compete in the Tour de France since the ANC-Halfords Cycling Team competed in the 1987 tour.
