Slipstream
Slipstream Chipotle by H30, is a UCI Professional Continental Team established in 2007 and based in the United States. The team's sports director and general manager is Jonathan Vaughters, a former professional rider.
Team Slipstream was originally a UCI Continental Team, TIAA-CREF. Established in 2004 as a development cycling team, it consists of both professional and amateur riders.
Important Facts:
- The team is title sponsored by Slipstream Sports, LLC, which is a sports marketing and development company, Chipotle Mexican Grill and H30.
- The team participates in the Agency for Cycling Ethics (ACE) program with the purpose of helping to eliminate doping in professional cycling.
- In 2007, Team Slipstream compete in road bicycle racing events on the 2007 USA Cycling Professional Tour, the 2006-2007 UCI America Tour and the 2006-2007 UCI Europe Tour.
- In the Tour of Missouri 2007 Slipstream won the first place in Team classification. As well Danny Pate won the 1st place in the Stage 5 of the tour and William Frischkorn won the 2nd place overall in the this tour.
- Ian MacGrego won the 1st place in Stage 5 of the Tour de Beauce 2007.
- In the U.S Open Cycling Championships, Jonathan Patrick McCarty won the 2nd place.
- Also in 2007 the Team Slipstream had a UCI ProTour wildcard invitation to Volta a Cataluya.
- Currently in the Tour of Qatar 2008 the team got the second place un the Team time trial and Christopher Sutton got 4th overall in that tour.
- Team Slipstream got the 1st place in team classification in the Tour of California 2008.
