13th Stage: Narbonne → Nîmes, 182 km

This thirteenth stage is also for sprinters. This stage will be held from Narbonne to Nîmes. Nimes is the 15 time stage town and Narbonne its 7th time stage host town. This stage is flat and has 182 km. However In the preceding previous day’s stage, final experience sprinters will make it to the front to catch up a few additional points prior to getting to the Alps.
Narbonne: was the final town in the twelfth stage.
Nîmes: Situated a mere three hours by TGV from Paris, Nîmes its claim as a city to be reckoned with at the center of France’s Mediterranean belt. Nimes is a city and commune of southern France and is the capital of Gard department. Nimes has a rich history, dating back to the Roman Empire, and is a popular tourist destination. Nime has been 15 times stage host, the very first one was in 1905 and was won by Louis Trousselier and the last one was in 2004 and was won by Aitor Gonzalez.
