Rubens Barrichello

- Barrichello was born in 1972, Rubens started his Karting career at the early age of nine, winning five titles before he was eight
- The last step before Formula One was taken when Rubens was only twenty years old as he entered the F3000 championship
- In his early beginnings he was part of the Jordan team, many mentioned Rubens had inherited the hopes of his mentor the late Ayrton Senna
- Today, Rubens is entering his fifth year with the Scuderia Ferrari and with Shell
- In 1997, Rubens parted company with Jordan to join Jackie Stewart's Formula One venture with the Stewart F1 team
- In 2001 his quest for second place in the World Championship was cruelly denied following technical problems at Monza and again at Indianapolis
- Rubens has had a spectacular raise as he has proven to be a very capable driver.
