Scuderia Ferrari

Gestione Sportiva is the division concerning the Ferrari racing automobile which is fully committed to the Formula One competition. The Scuderia Ferrari had its origins back in 1929 as part of Alfa Romeo until the year 1939. The first entry of the Scuderia in a F1 competition was in 1948 which makes the team the oldest of the category.

Ferrari has acquired outstanding drivers –pilots whose extend backgrounds have made them the leaders of the team, among which are: Felipe Massa and Kimi Räikkönen. Räikkönen’s entrance to Ferrari was in part due to the retirement of the ten-year reign World Grand Prix Champion Michael Schumacher in 2006.
