Montpellier HSC History
Montpellier Hérault Sport Club is a French football club founded in 1919 and located in Montpellier.
The club became professional in 1932 but in 1969 it abandoned the professional division. In 1970 the club took over le Sport-Club and was renamed Montpellier-Littoral FC and in July of 1974 the club joined AS Paillade and is renamed Montpellier
The team became professional again in 1978 and had their last name change to Montpellier-Hérault Sport Club in 1989.
