RCD Espanyol de Barcelona is one of the earliest and most important Football clubs in La Liga.
Their first years were focused only on country players, by 1920’s they started foreign marketing.
The idea worked perfectly and during 1930 and 1940 , the club participated an major tournaments, including the famous Copa del Rey.
A determined presentation in defeat in the UEFA Cup Final for 08-09 may be the channel to boost Espanyol out of mid-table depression into European contention and the signing of Valdo from Osasuna could prove to be the section of business that clinches it, just as they did in 07-08.
