In 1920 history begun for this club. They were promoted to the second division for the first time in the season 1931-32. A couple of years later the team ascended to the first division, in the season 1934-35. Since then, they were back and forth a couple of times

The 2004-05 was certainly a historic campaign for Osasuna. Los Rojillos, coached by Mexican Javier Aguirre, managed to linger in First Division and for their third time ever, they earned a spot to play UEFA Cup the following year.

A potentially effective new strike force of Javier Portillo and Walter Pandiani has the Osasuna fans in enthusiastic anticipation of the new season, but the twin losses of Roberto Soldado to back to Real Madrid and Raul Garcia to Atletico Madrid, will need quality replacements.
