Real Valladolid

Real Valladolid Club de Fútbol is a Spanish football club created in 1928
The club is the result of the merge of Real Unión Deportiva de Valladolid and Club Deportivo Español
The club’s stadium is the Estadio José Zorrilla which seats 26,500 spectators.
For the 1947-48 season the club was part of the Primera División as champions of the Segunda.
And the following year, the team pushed on from this success and reached the finals of the Copa del Rey in the Chamartín stadium against Athletic Bilbao, eventually losing 4-1
From the 1950s onward, Valladolid vacillated between the first and second divisions, descending as low as third in 1970-71.
More recently, the team has not been relegated since promotion to the Primera in the 1992-93 season.
