Stephen Hendry
Born in January 13, 1969 in Edinburg, Scottland, he is well known for his achievements which make him one of the greatest snooker players of all times.
At the early age of 21 Hendry won his first World Championships title becoming the youngest player ever to win the event. Then followed by his most current win in 1999 was a record seventh, eclipsing rival Steve Davis' six modern-era victories.
As of 2006 he records 36 ranking titles; has also won 68 professional titles in total.
In 1994 Hendry was awarded an MBE and was also voted BBC Scotland Sports Personality of the Year in 1987 and 1996. On seven different occasions he has also been voted World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association (WPBSA) Player of the Year.
