Italian Serie A Soccer- The AC Milan Obtained Its First Victory

After an early struggle during the beginning of the season, the AC Milan achieved its first triumph over the weekend against Lazio with a final score of 4-1. Some of the players including; Kaka added that during the game against Lazio the club was looking finally as a team and that Milan still has a long way to go, but the progress was fantastic and they will keep up with the hard work. Ancelotti, for his part was really happy with the team’s performance and with the individual attitude of each player on and off the field.
“Everyone was very aggressive and co-operated to ensure the squad worked at its best. There were definite improvements in defense because everyone else helped to win back the ball. I don't know if the negative period is over and I say it isn't because we cannot be complacent, “stated Coach Carlo Ancelotti.
Ancelotti had many doubts regarding losing his job as the AC Milan manager due to the bad performances the team had in the first two games and the speculations. However, this positive result assured his job for now and he knows his players will only improve from this point forward.
The club’s president, Silvio Berlusconi is expecting the team to win the Italian Serie A Championship and the UEFA Cup this present season. Therefore, there is a lot of work to be done and a lot of pressure still for the players and Coach Ancelotti. But like any football player knows, football is about enjoying the game. Every AC Milan fan knows the team is capable of accomplishing anything; they just have to go step by step, be true to each other and play their best football.
