Las Vegas is the ultimate place for fun, sun, and tons of excitement. No wonder, it is the most popular holiday destination in the United States. It has fabulous shows, luxurious hotels, excellent restaurants, and a myriad of activities for all ages of visitors from all corners of the world.
Las Vegas has much to offer to the kids as well, though it is trying to shed that kid-friendly look of yesteryears. Even so, your kid would definitely have a different experience here- whether it is the thrilling ride on the Stratosphere or the white tigers of the Mirage. Vegas mean all things to everyone and you will find every conceivable activity and items here.
Of course, the adults flock to this oasis city for gambling. The city's great new slogan advertising "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" has caught the imagination of many a visitors. Moreover, it is difficult to remain unaffected by the bright lights and good times that the city offers.
Gambling remains the chief attraction of this oasis city to this day. You would find all the varieties of gambling here- one-arm bandits, roulette wheels, card games. Those of you who visit the city for some adult friendly activities would be surprised to see the whole set of activities here. Words of caution for the gambling geeks though, gamble with moderation. You do not want to go back home without a cent in your pocket. Most do get carried away with the mood in the casinos of Vegas.
Las Vegas is a paradise even for the budget conscious. The flights and transportation to the city is inexpensive and you can find fun filled activities in the city that cost nothing at all. Activities such as watching the Bellagio dancing fountains from the front row or viewing the light and music show at the Fremont Street Experience cost nothing at all.
Las Vegas is also home to a great variety of restaurants that offer the best of cuisines in the world. Las Vegas is known for some fantastic spots by the hottest chefs in the culinary world and the trendiest clubs that entice the young and famous from far and wide.
The newest trend in Vegas is cultural events in addition to the lights, gambling, and excitement. For example, check out the excellent art exhibits at the Bellagio, including the Picasso restaurant that features some of the legendary artist’s most famous works.
Las Vegas vacation has something for everyone. Do not miss out the great shows waiting to be enjoyed by you. Whether it is the Circ du Soleil or performances by today's happening singers like Celine Dion, you would love every bit of it. For the young, there is the Blue Man Group and magicians while the adult ones would like to see shows like Australian Review and Thunder from Down Under.
