Cricket Coach Bob Woolmer has been held in Pakistan
By Stephen Lars
The deceased Bob Woolmer was Pakistan’s Cricket Coach for close to three years. There were more than 200 people at his service at the Sacred Heart Cathedral in the Eastern city of Lahore, the home of Pakistani Cricket.
Captain Inzamam-ul-Haq led a contingent of seven players among the 400 mourners at the 100-year-old Sacred Heart Church, while officials lit candles and laid floral wreaths at a portrait of the late Englishman.
There are many clouds about Woolmer’s death as he was found unconscious in his hotel room two weeks ago, a day after Pakistan was eliminated from the World Cup after a astonish defeat by Ireland.
Later, Woolmer past way at the hospital and the police is now treating his loss as murder as several investigations are being put in place to find out what really happened to the Coach.
