How To Stay Positive To Finish a Round
By Nick Reinhart
Welcome back to Golfdreamscometrue.com. I hope your golf game is improving and you are enjoying the series of ezine articles.
Today you are going to learn about the power of how grinding it out and staying positive can help you finish a great round.
Okay, so now you are thinking, grinding it out doesn't sound like fun and how is this going to help me, am I right? Or maybe you think you have heard this before and maybe you have, but it does help and let me explain.
How many times have you been going along playing pretty well and one swing or one bad hole leads to many more? Do you find yourself saying, okay here it comes again, just like every other round, I am done now and the round just goes steadily downhill from there? We all have been there.
That's why I want you to focus on the shot that turns it the other way. Have you ever had rounds where you just can't seem to get it together? Then, you have one good hole, all of a sudden you start thinking, hey, that was good, let me see if I can do this again. Then, the next hole goes well and so on and so on. Before you know it, you are happy with your round and when you are done, you end up shooting a better score than you thought you would.
Okay, here's my point. Instead of letting that one bad hole drive you crazy. Start thinking about how one swing or one hole, can bring you back. Just keep thinking I know I have a good swing here and I am going to find it on one of these shots. Then, when you do it, start thinking about how you are going to keep doing it and then before you know it, you are on your way to a much better round.
I guess what I am really trying to say here is why not focus on trying to get your round turned around and be positive instead of letting the one bad hole lead to more bad holes.
Try it the next time you are out there struggling a little, because we all do, including the pros. Just say, I know I have a good swing and one of these swings is going to lead to more good swings, I know it.
Good luck out there and I hope you found this useful. For more information tap here at www.golfdreamscometrue.com
