English Premiere League - Manchester United 2010-2011

Manchester United is an English Premiere League team considered by many to be on of the finest soccer teams in the globe. As of press time, the team is working in tuning its team for the 2010-2011 season that will soon begin.
The Red Devils had a good season, although the team failed to be crowned Premier League champions. Manchester United finished the 2009/10 season second after losing in a close championship game against Chelsea. They did manage to win for the fourth time the Football League Cup
Manchester United has said that its main goal is to return to the path of triumph, and regain its command on the League. The Manchester United team will be competing this year in the Premier League, the Carling Cup, the FA Cup and the UEFA Champions League.
Alex Ferguson, Manchester United’s Head Coach, is building a powerful team, with plenty of very good strikers, in order to cope with these challenges. Ferguson has a variety of strikers, all very capable of making the difference in a game. They want to win the Championship and regain the top spot that Chelsea has taken away from them in the Premiere League.
Sir Alex Ferguson’s staff counts with the services of great strikers among them Dimitar Berbatov, Wayne Rooney, Michael Owen, Danny Welbeck, Italian Federico Macheda and Mame Biram Diouf of Senegal. With this offensive arsenal, Ferguson is confident of being able to make a good job over the season.
One of the great surprises of Manchester United for the season that is just a few weeks from starting is the acquisition of Javier Hernandez. The Mexican striker arrives to reinforce the attacking party and give the team variants in the tactics department.
With a squad as the one we have described here is hard to imagine Ferguson should have problems to combine and actually propose an effective game plan on the front end.
Ferguson is very pleased with the arrival of Hernandez. He is a player who can contribute much to the group. The Red Devils’ fans seem to agree with the hiring of Hernandez. The followers of the red team have shown confidence and acceptance toward the Mexican. It is expected that Hernandez may become a strong rival of Wayne Rooney, in regards to being the team’s top scorer.
For the moment, Manchester United is in a pre-season tour in North America, which ends on July 30. The official start date of the 2010-2011 Premier League Season will be on August 14th when Tottenham Hotspur plays against Manchester City at the White Hart Lane stadium.
